Hip-hop’s de facto summer song just got a huge boost.

After his star-studded single “I’m the One” became his first No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 charts, the track has been certified gold by the RIAA, after hitting 500,000 units sold.
The summer smash, which includes assists from Lil Wayne, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Justin Bieber, has only been out for two weeks. The feat was celebrated by Khaled on his Instagram, saying “Bless up fan luv. ANOTHER ONE #IMTHEONE OFFICIALLY #GOLD […] WOW BE PLATINUM any day now @wethebestmusic @epicrecords @rocnation FAN LUV THANK YOU IM SO #GRATEFUL.”
DJ Khaled also released a teaser video of some new music that’s coming on the Grateful yesterday.
