The younger Middleton sister is reported to have gifted a Merci Maman necklace in 2013 when she gave birth to Prince George.
A necklace gifting tradition started by Princess Diana when she gave birth to Prince William, Kate’s husband, and it has been continued.
The priceless and exceptionally meaningful necklace features a gold-plated disc the words “George Alexander Louis” is inscribed on it. A smaller charm in the shape of a little boy is engraved with a “W” for William.
Princess Diana too wore a similar necklace which was gifted by Prince Charles. It too was engraved with word “William.”
