Barbara Sinatra, fourth and final wife of legendary singer Frank Sinatra, died Tuesday of natural causes at her home in California. She was 90.
The former model rose to one of the most famous women after marrying the singer in 1976. She was born as Barbara Blakeley in 1927 in Bosowrth, Missouri, and started off her modeling career at the age of 18 after moving to Long Beach, California.
The Las Vegas showgirl founded Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center in 1986 with the view to help those children who were victims of abuse or are neglected. It is located on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus in California.
Barbara earlier had married Robert Harrison Oliver and Herbert Zeppo Marx.
She has only one child, son Robert from Marx.
Frank Sinatra died in 1998 due to heart attack. Both were together for about 22 years, the longest in their lives.
