The Independence Day is just ahead us and the weekend has already kicked start the celebration with Jazz, country music, barbecue, pork, racing pics, burgers and beer of course leading up to Fourth of July.
Not to forget, the fireworks and parades are also in the card along with costume contests, charitable fundraisers and sporting events in various places.
July Fourth will be the day when fundraisers will be building up a permanent structure for the African American Museum and Cultural Center of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
The Fourth of July parade in the village of Corrales will start at 10 a.m. from Target Road destined to La Entrada Road.
In the Santa Fe the July Fourth fireworks will take place next to the Santa Fe Mall this year on the 4250 Cerrillos Road.
In Bandelier a July Fourth naturalization ceremony will be held by Bandelier National Monument and US Citizenship and Immigration Services. This is their sixth year celebration.
